Volkswagen We Connect is a free app designed for iPhone users, allowing them to connect their vehicles to their smartphones. The app offers quick, intuitive access to comprehensive vehicle information and status, with the added convenience of controlling certain vehicle functions remotely. With the Volkswagen We Connect app, you can easily programme your optional auxiliary heater, lock and unlock your doors and luggage compartment, and even find your Volkswagen faster with the latest parking position feature.
The app also includes helpful functions for electric vehicles, such as checking the charge level of your battery and starting and stopping the charging process. Thanks to the simple in-app registration and the new Volkswagen ID, your vehicle can connect to your smartphone even more quickly. However, it is important to note that the availability of the services described depends on both the vehicle and its equipment, and a separate We Connect or We Connect Plus contract must be signed online with Volkswagen AG.
